i don't know what this building used to be or what it is now, but it's one of my favourite structures on the riverfront.
a building with words on it? oh heck YEAH! and, it's got a TON of interesting little angles and molding... even each individual brick is unique and freaking spectacular.
i would love to get inside.

I love this thing, too!
I think it used to be the steam plant that powered the city (when everything ran on steam), and I think it's still used by Ameren for something similar today, but nobody seems to know exactly what.
It totally looks like it fell out of Gotham City.
